History Of the Event:

In Texas, National Night Out (also referred to as Texas Night Out) is scheduled for the first Tuesday in October, which in 2025 will be October 7th. This annual event is a community-police awareness-raising campaign aimed at strengthening neighborhood spirit, fostering police-community partnerships, and promoting crime and drug prevention awareness. Communities across Texas will host block parties, festivals, and other gatherings to bring neighbors together and connect with local law enforcement.

Our Neighborhood Night Out will also be held on Tuesday, October 7th from 5:30 - 7:30 in the South end of Bescott.  We will have Bill Miller BBQ - by rsvp only - and the First Responders from our area will be on hand to talk with residents.  Unless they are on a call, the local fire station will bring a firetruck for both young and old to view.  The Sheriff Deputy assigned to our area will also be on hand.  We can always use volunteers for set up, clean up, children's activities, greeting, and check in.  This is a Resident Only event.  The link to RSVP will be located under "Members" > "Voting, surveys, and questionnaires"  .  We look forward to this event.  Last year over 110 residents (renters and homeowners) enjoyed the evening.
